Who Are We?

FESPP (Friends of Eastern State Penitentiary Park) is a community-driven nonprofit dedicated to cultivating and preserving green spaces around Eastern State Penitentiary, serving as a vital recreational resource for our local community and students of Bache-Martin Elementary School.

Areas We Maintain

Corinthian Gardens

Enter Corinthian Gardens at the corner of Brown Street and Corinthian Avenue, or along Corinthian Avenue near the intersection with Fairmount Avenue.

Brown Street Lawn

Brown Street Lawn is located along the north side of Eastern State Penitentiary. 

Playpen Playground

The Playpen Playground is located at the corner of Brown Street and N 22nd Street.

The Breakout Race is THIS Saturday, Oct. 5. Please be sure your car is parked away from these streets, and please be aware of the closure happening from around 7:30 am unitl about 10:30 am to allow us to host this community event.
